WHAT'S IN MY FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY CAMERA BAG?

What lens is that? What flash are you using? What’s the name of that tripod?

These are the questions that pop up daily in my Instagram DM’s and in the comments section on my reels. So I decided to make a video outlining all the camera gear that I take with me on my food photography photoshoots.

If you’re interested in purchasing any of the kit I cover here’s a link to my Amazon Storefront.

Enjoy!

A picture is worth a thousand words, and that’s especially true when it comes to food. High-quality images of your dishes can make or break your food business's success. Professional photography services can help you get the most out of your products, create a cohesive brand, and gain the trust of potential customers. Here are some reasons why investing in professional photography services will elevate your food business with this blog post hosted by Julian Lallo Photography.

Secure Brand Cohesiveness

Having professional photos taken of your dishes is an essential step if you want to ensure a consistent brand image across all platforms. Professional photographers have the expertise to make sure that all images are taken with the same style, which creates cohesiveness when used for marketing materials such as social media posts and website design elements. This creates a more polished look that will help attract more customers and keep them coming back for more.

A Pro Knows How to Make Food Look its Best

Food looks different in real life than it does on camera. However, a professional photographer knows how to bring out the best in each dish with techniques such as styling, lighting, and composition. They also know how to fix any imperfections during post-processing so that you get quality images every time.

Quality Images Can Enhance Your Online Presence

Good quality photos are essential for creating an effective online presence for your food business, whether it’s on Instagram or other social media platforms, or simply on your own website displaying promotional material or menu items. Professional photographers know exactly what kind of shots will work best and can ensure that all photos are optimized for web viewing. This will increase engagement with potential customers and give your business a much-needed boost.

Professional Photos Will Boost Your Reputation and Build Trust

High-quality images can go a long way toward building trust between you and potential customers because they immediately convey credibility. This is essential in any successful business relationship. People tend to be more willing to purchase from someone they perceive as reliable, so having professional photos taken of all your dishes is key if you want to develop strong relationships with clients over time.

I Bought The FujiFilm X100V

As many of you would know; since the start of my career as a professional photographer I have always shot on Canon cameras. Starting out on the Canon 6D followed by the 5D, before moving on to my current mirrorless combination of the Canon EOS R and R5.

But recently the I was introduced the the FujiFilm ecosystem and purchased the very hyped, X100V. It’s been a couple of months now that I’ve been using this camera and it’s safe to say that it has lived up to every bit of the hype - I love it!
